Would recommend for a fleeting pause

Comfortable room, convenient location, and great breakfast, as I slept soundly in the family room while enjoying a lovely side sea view during the firework display on bonfire night.

The hotel offers great relaxation opportunities with easy beach access and a beautiful communal conservatory. The only downside was that the exterior was a bit unappealing due to scaffolding, but it didn't ruin our time at all. 😊

Had a great stay with my friends! We loved visiting the beach and exploring the nearby castle. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and the sea view was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a group getaway.

One downside was the inconsistent hot water during our stay. We had some trouble getting it to warm up every time we wanted to shower. It was a bit frustrating, but overall the experience was solid.

Maintenance could really use a boost!!! Paint is peeling, shower temp control feels like a gamble, and parking is a game of luck. Significant noise levels at all hours made relaxation impossible. Consider fixing these issues!!!

The culinary scene nearby is a real treat! Love Brew Cafe serves up a cracking cuppa and scrumptious bites, while Papas Fish And Chips has the freshest catch that'll make your taste buds dance. We also enjoyed the well-staffed Bay View Coffee House! Quick shoutout to the friendly front desk staff. It's a bit worn, but we got that sea view we asked for.

The small double room offered an amazing sea view, enhanced by the complimentary binoculars. Unfortunately, the decor felt tired and there seemed to be a lack of full-time staff, which was noticeable during breakfast service. Heat in the room was uncomfortably high and could not be adjusted, making the stay less pleasant.

I really enjoyed my stay because the breakfast area was lovely with a great view. I loved being just a few steps from Peasholm Park, which was perfect for a relaxing walk in nature.

I stayed in a Small Double Room for three nights and had some ups and downs. The location shines, just behind the seafront, making it convenient to stroll along the beach. My room was clean and tidy, which was a relief. it lacked storage for clothing. Only small bedside tables existed, making living out of my suitcase necessary. The room felt cramped, especially with the shower located right in the room. It provided no privacy, and the hot water tap didn't work at all, which was frustrating. Parking proved to be a hassle. The public car park nearby was tight, and I had to maneuver carefully to get in or out. I enjoyed the tea and coffee facilities provided but wished for a stronger Wi-Fi connection. it had potential with its charm and view but needs improvement in functionality and maintenance.

We enjoyed breathtaking views from our balcony, the comfort of our room, and the delicious breakfast that exceeded our expectations! I would definitely choose this place again.

This was an excellent fit for a weekend vacation in Scarborough with good price value. The full English breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. Check if they'll have any ongoing refurbishments during your stay.
